Date Hideyoshi is an ex-con with seemingly no future - even his half-hearted suicide attempts end in failure. But when a six-year-old runaway creeps into his car, he suddenly has the brilliant idea of... kidnap! The unlikely duo then sets off on an adventure, perhaps to run away from it all. They soon begin to bond. Unfortunately for Date, the kid's father happens to be a mafia boss...
